“Flags Only” Memorial Service
January 13 & 14, 2022

The family of Lloyd “Mac” R. McKnelly has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor “Mac” with a flag line showing our appreciation and respect for his service to our great Nation. Shortly after graduating Washington High School in 1964, he joined the Navy. Mac was a fiercely proud Vietnam veteran, having served two tours; one aboard the U.S.S. Kittyhawk and one in Vietnam as a Seabee, then was honorably discharged in 1969.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls. A Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Chancellor Reformed Church. Burial will be at a later date in the SD Veterans’ Cemetery. The visitation and memorial service will both be “Flags Only”.
