SD State Veterans Cemetery

   The family of Francis “Dean” Ellston has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor “Dean” with a flag line showing our appreciation and respect for his service to our great Nation.  After leaving school to work construction, Dean was drafted into the US Army and spent 16 months in Korea until he was honorably discharged.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:15 AM, Thursday, October 10th, at the First United Methodist Church, 401 S. Spring Ave., Sioux Falls.  A private interment will be in the South Dakota State Veterans’ Cemetery at 10 AM, prior to the Memorial Service. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 9th, at the George Boom Funeral Home, with family present.  The Visitation and the Memorial Service will be “flags only”.

Stage: 9:30 AM, Thursday, October 10th at the SD Veterans’ Cemetery, 25965 477th Avenue, Sioux Falls SD.

   Flags will be provided.
