The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked by the Veterans’ Park Board to assist with their “Flag Day 2015 Celebration” at Veterans’ Memorial Park on June 14, 2015. Our roll in assisting is to help with parking in the north parking lot that will be dedicated parking for Veterans and their families and to help them to the amphitheater where the program will be held. We will also be placing U.S. flags with our 50 state flags in the park prior to the program. The PGR would welcome the help of members of the Veterans’ Organizations in our area in showing our Honor and Respect to our Veterans.
We will start placing the flags around 7:30am so anyone that would like to assist with putting them up and removing them after the program would be much appreciated. The stage time will be 8:45am for a briefing on assisting with the parking and helping with getting the Veterans to and from the amphitheater. Parking for the ones riding to the park will be on the street just north of the parking lot in a dedicated area.
