The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Albert Parse Barber to show our appreciation and respect to Albert with a flag line in honor of his service to his and our great country. Albert graduated from Washington High School in 1942 and soon after joined the United States Marine Corp. Albert was a Staff Sergeant during World War II serving as an aircraft mechanic in the Southwest Pacific.
A, family present, Memorial Visitation will be Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 PM at George Boom Funeral Home, Sioux Falls. This will be “Flags Only” for the Memorial Visitation.
There will be private Graveside Services with Military Honors held at Woodlawn Cemetery on Wednesday, January 12th at 2:00 PM. The Patriot Guard will be present to stand flag line to honor Albert as he is is laid to rest.
Stage: 1:30 PM, Wednesday, January 12th at Woodlawn Cemetery, 2001 S Cliff Ave, Sioux Falls, SD.
For your own safety and the safety of others, we are asking any members that choose to attend this mission to be prepared to comply with the “Covid Safety” mask and distancing recommendations, if requested by the family, the funeral home or is required by the community that you are in. Wearing a mask when attending a SD Patriot Guard Riders mission is a personal choice when not requested or required.
Flags will be provided.
