Celebration of life/Military Honors

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Duane R. Olson to show our appreciation and respect to “Larry” with flags in honor of his service to his and our great country. In 1958, Duane enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged on July 31, 1961.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Wintz & Ray Funeral Home in Yankton, with military honors provided by Ernest-Bowyer VFW Post No. 791. A reception and fellowship will follow in the Hospitality Center. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 PM, with the celebration of Duane’s life beginning at 2:00 PM.
The Celebration of life and the visitation will be “Flags Only”.
