Flags/Memorial Mass of Christian Burial

The family of James J. Jaeke has requested the Patriot Guard to place flags at his Memorial Mass honoring him for his service to his country. James joined the Iowa Reserves where he served for ten years. He was called up during Desert Storm and served as a Captain in the United States Army and received many awards during his time while serving his country.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM on Monday, October 28, 2024, at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Yankton, South Dakota, with Reverend Darin Schmidt officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM on Monday at the church. Burial will be at a later date in the Omaha National Cemetery in Omaha, Nebraska. This will be a “Flags Only” mission at the church.
Flags will placed at the church by 9:00 AM on Monday, October 28th, 2024.
