   The family of John Otten has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to show our appreciation for his military service by honoring him with a flag line.  At 17, John began his service to his country when he joined the United States Navy and later was on the Second Wave at Normandy Beach during WWII.

The funeral service for John will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at George Boom Funeral Home & Crematory with military honors at Woodlawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday, March 13, 2018, where the family will greet relatives and friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at George Boom Funeral Home & Crematory in Sioux Falls, SD.  The Visitation will be with “flags only” on Tuesday.

   Stage:  12:30 p.m., on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at George Boom Funeral Home, 3408 E. 10th St., Sioux Falls, SD. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, 2001 South Cliff Avenue, with Military honors.

Flags will be provided.
