   The family of Jordy James Soesbe has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor Jordy with a flag line showing our appreciation and respect for his service to his State and Nation.  Jordy spent 21 years in the U.S. Army and SD Army National Guard, retiring in 2017 at the rank of Staff Sergeant in the National Guard. He completed two tours of duty in Afghanistan, serving as a gunner on a Humvee, sniper and prison guard. During his military career, he was a member of the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division and 25th Infantry Division and the South Dakota National Guard’s 235th Military Police Company.

Funeral services for Jordy will be on Saturday, May 25, starting at 12 p.m. at Kirk Funeral Home, 1051 E. Minnesota St., Rapid City, S.D.  A public viewing will take place from 11 a.m.-12 p.m.  Family will arrive at 10:00 a.m. for private family viewing.

   Stage at 0930, Saturday morning (5/25/19), in the parking lot accross from Kirk Funeral Home, 1051 E. Minnesota Street, Rapid City, SD.  After the service/family departure flag line will dismiss.

Flags will be provided.
