The family of Timothy William Olson has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor Timothy with a flag line showing our appreciation and respect for his service to his and our great Nation. After high school Timothy joined the Army, attended South Dakota State University, and later joined the Marine Corp. After three years in the Marine Corp, he received a degree in HVAC in San Diego where he was living when he passed away on May 13, 2019 at his home. The military was a big part of Tim’s life. He was in the Army, Marines, and National Guard, where he later retired from the military. He was proud of serving his country and met some of his closest longtime friends in the military.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, June 21, 2019 at Greenwood Cemetery, in Brookings with Military Honors.
