Wreaths Across America

Every year, Wreaths Across America organizes the laying of wreaths on military graves to honor and remember Veterans during the holiday season. The event is held every December, on the second or third Saturday of the month. On Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 11:00 am, Wreaths Across America will be at South Dakota Veterans Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.
The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to assist with traffic control/parking again this year for the Wreaths Across America Day at the SD Veterans Cemetery. The weather is forecast to be very cold and windy so dress with that in mind. We will meet with the cemetery staff for a briefing on what they want for parking and traffic control at around 9:45am in the office building.
STAGE: 9:30 am, Saturday, December 17th at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery.
