South Dakota Patriot Guard Riders

   “DJ” Woodley enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1986.  His fellow Bomb Nav Brothers-In-Arms share with us that during his 20-year career, he served at four Air Force Bases, Ellsworth, Lowry, Anderson, and retiring at Edwards.  He maintained four airframes: B-52 G/Hs, B-1Bs, B-2s, and CV-22s, back-shop, field-shop, or flightline, and on countless weapons systems.  He was always looking out for others; was a man of his word; a mentor; he could always be counted on; he would sacrifice all to ensure his friends and family were safe and the mission was completed; and he was the epitome of a Strategic Air Command warrior.

   Memorial Service will be 10:00 AM Friday, January 6, 2023, at George Boom Funeral Home followed by Graveside Services with Military Honors at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Sioux Falls, SD at 1:00 PM.  A Visitation with Family Present will be on Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 PM at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls.  Visitation and the Memorial Service will both be flags only.
