EVENT/Deployment Ceremony
March 16th, 2023

1.  South Dakota National Guard has requested Patriot Guard and American Legion Riders stand a flag line for the activation ceremony of 216th Fire Fighting Team at the Range Road Armory in Rapid City.  The 216th Fire Fighting Team will be deploying on a year long assignment to United States European Command area of operations.

Mission details are:

Thursday, 16 March 2023:
11:45 AM: Stage at 3740 Range Road, Rapid City, SD
12:00 PM: Set up flag line
1:00 PM:  Ceremony starts
TBD: Ceremony ends and flag line stands down
2.  Flags will be provided.
3.  Weather forecast for Thursday shows a high of 29 degrees with 25% chance of snow.
