Funeral/Interment Mission
May 30 & 31, 2023
Sioux Falls, SD

  The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Lewis Carpenter, JR. to show our appreciation and respect to Lewis with a flag line in honor of his service to his and our great country.  In 1958, Lewis made his home in Sioux Falls, SD and began his career with the South Dakota Air National Guard. While in the Guard, Lewis worked for over 39 years as a Jet Engine Mechanic and Maintenance Control. He also worked for four years in the NDI Laboratory until his honorable discharge in 1993.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls with burial at Hills of Rest Cemetery. His family will be present to greet friends for visitation on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the funeral home from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  Due to short notice, all elements of this mission will be “Flags Only”.
