South Dakota Patriot Guard Riders

   Every year, Wreaths Across America organizes the laying of wreaths on military graves to honor and remember Veterans during the holiday season. The event is held every December, on the second or third Saturday of the month.  On Saturday, December 16th, 2023 at 11:00 am, Wreaths Across America will be at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes and the honor of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.

   The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to assist with traffic control/parking again this year for the Wreaths Across America Day at the SD Veterans Cemetery.  The weather is, most likely in mid-December, to be cold and windy, so dress with that in mind.  We will meet with the cemetery staff for a briefing on what they want for parking and traffic control at around 9:45 am.
