The family of Charles “Charlie” Kobes Sr. has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor “Charlie” with flags showing our appreciation and respect for his service to our great Nation. After high school, Charlie enlisted in the US Navy. He served from 1968 to 1972, and served three of the years in Vietnam. After his active duty, Charlie continued his service in the SD Army National Guard.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, February 3, at the Moose Lodge in Mitchell. Burial will be in Servicemen’s Memorial Cemetery in Mitchell. Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 2, from 5-7:00 PM at Bittner Funeral Chapel. The funeral service and the visitation will be “Flags Only”.
Stage: 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 3rd at the Servicemen’s Memorial Cemetery, 600 W 23rd Ave, Mitchell, SD.
Flags will be provided.
