“Flags Only” Visitation/Memorial Mission

The family of Darwin “Deanie” D. Otten has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor Darwin with a flag line showing our appreciation and respect for his service to our great Nation. After graduating from high school, Darwin joined the U.S. Army Corps. & attended basic training at Fort Campbell, KY prior to his deployment in Germany. Following his time in the military, Ken worked for the South Dakota State Penitentiary where he worked for 21 years, reaching the rank of Captain.
A Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 24 at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 23 at the funeral home in Sioux Falls. The Memorial Service and Visitation will be “Flags Only”.
