The family of Larry Clayton Almhjeld has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor Larry with a flag line showing our appreciation and respect for his service to our great Nation.  In 1967, Larry was drafted into the U.S. Army where he served as part of the Med Corps in Vietnam for 19 months before being Honorably discharged as an SP4 with an Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and a National Defense Service Medal.

A Memorial Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 7, 2024 at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory in Sioux Falls.  Interment will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, at the South Dakota State Veterans Cemetery in Sioux Falls.  The Memorial Visitation will be “Flags Only”.

Stage: 1:30 p.m., Friday, June 7th at the SD Veterans’ Cemetery, 25965 477th Avenue, Sioux Falls SD.

Flags will be provided.
