The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Daniel “Dan” Price to show our appreciation and respect to “Dan” with a flag line in honor of his service to his and our great country. Dan joined the U.S. Air Force in September 1964 and was honorably discharged in September 1968 as a Sergeant. While in the Air Force, Dan was a member of the USAF Security Service and attended Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA where he studied the Egyptian Arabic language. He served in the 6948th Security Squadron (Mobile) at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, TX, in Ft. Meade, MD, and overseas in Athens, Greece for 18 months.
Memorial visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. Interment with military honors will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sioux Falls. The Memorial Service and Visitation will be “Flags Only”.
