Memorial Day Program

   The SD Patriot Guard has been contacted with a request for our assistance at the SD Veterans Cemetery on Memorial Day morning. The cemetery staff would like the Patriot Guard to help with directing those that will be attending the Memorial Day Program.  We will also help with the parking before the program and assisting with the outbound traffic after.  The Memorial Program will be at 12:00 PM this year and those attending will start arriving by around 10:30 AM.  We would like to have at least 6 members to help.

Stage 9:30 am, Monday, May 26th at the SD Veterans’ Cemetery office for a briefing by the cemetery staff.

Our flags will be placed around the Committal Shelter by the cemetery staff the morning of the program, weather permitting. If the weather does not allow the program to be outside, the program will be moved to the Alliance and our assistance will not be needed.
