   The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Arvid Soren Leiseth to show our appreciation and respect to Arvid in honor of his service to his Community, State and Nation.  Following high school, he served with the South Dakota Army National Guard for 2 years.  In 1959, Arvid enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1962, serving as Artillery Staff Sergeant First Class in Germany for 2.5 years.

Funeral services will be 11 AM on Friday, July 18, 2025 at First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, SD with burial at Bethel Cemetery in rural Roberts County, SD.  His family will be present to greet friends for visitation on Thursday, July 17, 2025 form 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at George Boom Funeral Home.  The Visitation and Funeral Service will be “Flags Only”.
