“Flags Only” Funeral Mission

The family of Charles “Chuck” Hey has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to show our appreciation and respect in honor of Chuck’s service to his Community, State and Nation. Following high school, Chuck attended the Minnesota School of Business and during that time he trained for and joined the Minnesota Army National Guard. Chuck served for more than 20 years, and attained the rank of Captain.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. Visitation with the family present will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls. Following the Funeral Service, burial will be held at the Jasper City Cemetery in Jasper, Minnesota at 2:00 p.m. The Funeral Service and Visitation will both be “Flags Only”
*Arrangements have been made with the MN Patriot Guard Riders to show honor and respect to Charles Hey at the cemetery in Jasper, MN. If there are any of our SD PGR members that would like to take a nice ride on Thursday the 30th of April, I know your attendance would very much be appreciated. If you’re going, try to be early enough for staging. (The cemetery is on the north end of North Main St., West of the R/R tracks.)
