30th Midwest Honor Flight “Welcome Home”

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand flag line for Midwest Honor Flight, Mission 30, that is sponsored this flight by “Seed for Success Foundation”. This will be the second of three flights scheduled for this Spring of 2026. The Veterans being honored on this flight will tour areas of the Nations Capitol and many of the Veterans’ Memorials in Washington D.C. They will be returning the evening of Tuesday, May 19th to the Sioux Falls Regional Airport, with a scheduled time for arrival of 9:00 PM.
As those that have attended the previous “Welcome Home” events know, we will continue to gather at the Cell Phone Lot as we have been doing in the past. The parking for us, at the terminal, will still be in the parking lot by the hotel. The ticketing area and Lobby will now be the Welcome Home Area for the Honor Flight Veterans. We have been asked to stand, with U.S. Flags, in flag lines that will be in designated areas on both the upper level and on the lobby floor by the stairs and the elevator.
We have had many “Thank You’s” and positive comments for what we do. I know that what we have done over the years has been one of the memorable parts of each our Heroes’ journey, thanks to all of you. Our presence for the flag line is always one of the highlights of the Honor Flight for the veterans. Please come to show them our honor and respect for the freedom they have earned for all of us.
The last Scheduled flight for this Spring will be Mission 31, June 2nd, 2026.
