Memorial Visitation & Cemetery Military Honors

South Dakota Veterans’ Cemetery

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of David “Dave” Ehresmann to show our appreciation and respect to “Dave” with flags displayed in honor of his service to our country.  Following high school, “Dave” served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968. (No further information is available.)

Dave’s  family will be present to greet friends for a memorial visitation on Monday, August 10, 2026 at George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls, SD from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.  Graveside services will be 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at the South Dakota State Veterans Cemetery in Sioux Falls, SD.

Flags will be posted 1-1/2 hrs. prior to the start of the visitation (5:00 PM, Monday, 8/10/26).  This is done to have the flags in place and flying when family arrives at the funeral home.

Stage: 1:30 PM, Tuesday, August 11th at the SD Veterans’ Cemetery, 25965 477th Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD.

Flags will be provided at the cemetery.
