The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Edward ” Uncle Ed” J. Munce to show our appreciation and respect to “Ed” with flags displayed in honor of his service to his and our Great Country. Ed served his country in the United States Army in Vietnam from ’68 to ’69 in the 25th Infantry.
A Memorial Service will be 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls. The family will be present to greet friends for a Memorial Visitation on Monday at the funeral home from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. There will be a lunch at the funeral home following the Memorial Service. Burial will be at the SD Veterans’ Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
Flags will be posted 1-1/2 hrs prior to the visitation (8/11, 5 PM). This is done to have the flags in place and flying when family arrives at the church.
STAGE: 12:30 PM, Tuesday, August 11th at SD Veterans’ Cemetery, 25965 477th Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD.
Flags will be provided at the cemetery.
