For those who are interested in coming for this year’s Walk for the Fallen, we will be walking a mile for all of our fallen heroes, both in Sioux Falls and in Pierre. The two websites are: www.walkforthefallensiouxfalls.com and www.walkforthefallenpierre.com and they both have posters. Here are the details:
Sioux Falls – Saturday, August 23, 2014, at 10AM. Where: Madison St at Terrace Park (West Parking Lot) (If you walked with us two years ago at the Veterans Memorial Park, remember our turn-around spot? The start/stop this year is at the parking lot by that spot! – There’s also a map on the website.
***Any PGR members planning to attend this event can meet in the parking lot by the Canary Baseball Stadium if you would want to ride as part of the group to the Event. We will Stage @ 9:15am with KSU @9:30am.
Afterwards, my family is providing hot dogs and bottled water. The Rolfings are providing paper products, Gatorade and Oreos. If anyone wants to bring a side, feel free, otherwise just show up and enjoy the fellowship after the walk, if you are able!
If it rains, we will still walk but will possibly move the picnic…
Pierre – Saturday, August 30, 2014, at 10AM. Where: Capitol Lake at the War Memorials.
Afterwards, we will go to a local restaurant for fellowship!
