Funeral Mission/Burial With Military Honors
September 28 & 29, 2025

The family of Donald “Don” Branson has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor”Don” with flags showing our appreciation and respect for his service to our great Nation. Don joined the United States Army after high school and a brief time riding the local rodeo circuit as a bareback rider. Don attended barber school in Illinois, after his discharge from the Army.
Family will be present to greet friends for visitation on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at George Boom Funeral Chapel in Brandon, SD, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with Liturgical Wake Service beginning at 3:30 pm. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 am on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Risen Savior Catholic Church in Brandon. Interment will be in the Hills of Rest Cemetery in Sioux Falls. The Visitation and Funeral Service will be “Flags Only”.
Stage: 11:45 am, Monday, September 29th at Hills of Rest Cemetery, 3408 E. 10th St., Sioux Falls, SD. Enter the cemetery through the gate in the rear parking lot at George Boom Funeral Home.
Flags will be provided.
