Celebration of Life Visitation &
Cemetery Military Honors
August 3 & 4, 2025

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Joseph “Joe” Smith to show our appreciation and respect to “Joe” with a flag line in honor of his service to his and our great country. Joe joined the United States Army in 1957 and got out in 1962. His (MOS), Military Occupational Specialty, was 31 K which was in field communications. This was a part of his life that he was extremely proud of.
Celebration of Life Visitation with the family present to greet friends will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm on Sunday, August 3rd, 2025 at Miller Funeral Home, Downtown. There will be a Private Family Graveside Service at South Beaver Valley Cemetery, rural Brandon, SD on Monday, August 4th.
