SHORT NOTICE MISSION
A welcome home ceremony is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday April 30th at 1000 in the Army Aviation Support Facility, east of the Rapid City Regional Airport.
Staging will be 0915 in the parking lot of the Rapid Valley Fire Department on East Hwy 44 and Reservoir Rd. Flags to be provided.

Welcome home ceremony scheduled for 935th Soldiers
RAPID CITY, S.D. – A welcome home ceremony will be held for 19 Soldiers of Detachment 1, Company B, 935th Support Battalion, South Dakota Army National Guard, Tuesday, April 30 at 10 a.m. at the Army Aviation Support Facility, east of the Rapid City Regional Airport, after completing a nine-month deployment to Kuwait in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
The public is encouraged to attend.
Gov. Dennis Daugaard and Maj. Gen. Tim Reisch, the adjutant general of the SDNG, will be featured speakers at the ceremony.
Members of the Rapid City-based 935th arrived in the United States on April 21 and have been completing de-mobilization requirements at Fort Hood, Texas, before returning to South Dakota.
The 935th’s mission was to provide aviation maintenance and repair support to the 35th Combat Aviation Brigade. The unit specializes in maintenance and repair of rotary-wing aircraft to include the UH-60 Black Hawk, OH-58 Kiowa, and other U.S. Army rotary aircraft.
