Burial with Military Honors
October 5 & 6, 2025

   The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Robert “Bob” Messner to show our appreciation and respect to “Bob” with a flag line in honor of his service to our country.  In 1956, Bob entered the United States Army where he served honorably until his discharge in 1962.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 6, 2025, at First Lutheran Church, 327 S Dakota Ave, in Sioux Falls. Visitation with the family present will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory in Sioux Falls.  Burial with Military Honors will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sioux Falls.  The Visitation and Funeral Service will be “Flags Only”.
