   The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Darnell Arthur Nehlich to show our appreciation and respect to Darnell with flags posted in honor of his service to his and our great country.  Darnell served in the United States Air Force as a Medical Service Specialist.  He was head of the OB ward at Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane, WA, and then was stationed in Turkey during the Vietnam War.

Darnell’s family will be present to greet friends for visitation on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls, SD.  Visitation willbegin at 5:00 PM followed by a time of sharing memories at 6:30 PM.  His graveside service will be 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at the South Dakota State Veterans Cemetery in Sioux Falls, SD.
