“Flags Only”/Military Honors

   The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Gerald “Jerry” Keith Sundling to show our appreciation and respect to “Jerry” in honor of his service to his Nation.  Jerry joined the United States Army and honorably served in Vietnam from 1968 to 1970, earning a Bronze Star, for his heroic service.  After returning to a civilian life, Jerry worked at the South Dakota Development Center, also as a school guidance counselor and behavioral therapist.

Jerry’s family will be present to greet friends for visitation on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at George Boom Funeral Home. The visitation will begin at 1:00 PM followed by Military honors and a service of remembrance at 2:00 PM.

“Flags Only” will be posted at the funeral home for the visitation, service of remembrance and Military Honors.
