Graveside/Military Honors

   The family of Harvey Schmidt has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor Harvey with a flag line showing our appreciation and respect for his service to our great Nation.  Harvey was drafted into the United States Army on February 18, 1952. He served in the Korean War as a supply engineer and was honorably discharged on February 19, 1954.

A visitation will be held on Sunday April 21 from 3:00-5:00 PM at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls, SD. Harvey’s funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 22, also at the George Boom Funeral Home with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery following the funeral service.  Visitation and the Funeral Service will be “Flags Only”.

Stage: 10:45 AM, Monday, April 22nd at Woodlawn Cemetery, 2001 S. Cliff Ave., Sioux Falls, SD.
