The family of Ronald “Ron” Clark has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor “Ron” with flags showing our appreciation, honor and respect for his service to our great Nation. Ron joined the United States Air Force on September 6, 1966. He went to basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. He completed training and graduated as Airman Third Class, Air Freight Specialist from the Technical School at Shepard Air Force Base in Texas. He received a promotion to Airman Second Class in October of 1967 and then was sent overseas to Germany. Following his time in Germany, he was was assigned for a couple of years to Phue Cat Air Base in Vietnam. He completed his active duty and was honorably discharged on September 5, 1972.
Ron’s Memorial Service will be 1:30 PM Monday, March 30, 2026, at George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM and Interment will be 3:00 PM at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Sioux Falls, SD. The Memorial Service and Visitation will be “FLAGS ONLY”.
Stage: 2:30 PM, Monday, March 30th at South Dakota Veterans’ Cemetery, 25965 477th Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD.
Flags will be provided at the cemetery.
