   The family of LeRoy Norman Tarbox has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor LeRoy with a flag line showing our appreciation and respect for his service to our great Nation.In 1966,  following high school, LeRoy enlisted in the US Air Force and proudly served in Vietnam.  After his honorable discharge from the US Air Force, LeRoy later moved to Sioux Falls in 1977 for a full time SD Air National Guard Crew Chief position.  LeRoy retired from the SDANG in August of 2003 with the rank of Command Chief Master Sergeant.

Funeral Mass will be held 11:00am Tuesday February 18, 2025, at Christ the King Catholic Church,1501 W. 26th Street. Following a luncheon, the interment will take place at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Sioux Falls. The visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00pm, Monday, February 17, 2025, at the church, with a prayer service and Rosary beginning at 6:00pm.  The Funeral Service and Visitation will be “Flags Only”.

   Stage: 1:30 PM, Tuesday, February 18th at SD Veterans Cemetery, 25965 477th Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD.
**If you plan to attend, please remember to dress for your comfort and safety, with the morning temps that we are having this time of the year, and know that your safety comes first if you need to step off line to warm up.
