   The family of Allen “Al” E. Kulbel has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor Allen with a flag line showing our appreciation and respect for his service to our great Nation. After graduation from Winner High School, Al enlisted in the U.S. Army and was sent to basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. After training, he was sent to Germany and was stationed there for two and a half years. Al’s pride in his military service was eternal. He is a Vietnam Vet and was selected for the Midwest Honor Flight in October 2021.

The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 27, 2025, at St Therese Catholic Church, Sioux Falls.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 26, 2025, with a Liturgical Wake and Holy Rosary beginning at 4:00 PM, at George Boom Funeral Home. Interment will be at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery, following the Funeral Service. The Funeral Service and Visitation will be “Flags Only”.
