The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Bruce M. Dzitko to show our appreciation and respect to Bruce with a flag line in honor of his service to his and our great country. In January of 1981, Bruce enlisted in the United States Air Force. During his service he was stationed in Virginia, Korea, England, Saudi Arabia, Bosnia, Pakistan, Iraq and California. He was a combat photographer and loved flying, especially loved flying in helicopters. Bruce served in the Air Force for over 25 years and was honorably discharged in September of 2006.
A memorial service for Bruce will be held at 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home in Yankton. Military honors provided by the Ellsworth Air Force Base will follow the service at the funeral home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The Visitation and the Memorial Service will be “Flags Only”.
