Memorial Day Service
at the SD State Veterans’ Cemetery

The SD Patriot Riders have been honored to be invited to assist with the 2nd Annual Memorial Day service at the new SD State Veterans’ Cemetery. We have been asked to post our flags at the cemetery, to assist with the traffic control in the cemetery and for the members that will be riding to the service we will be doing a ride in with the Legion Riders and parking the bikes up by the shelter where the service will be held.
Stage time will be 8:00 AM, Monday, May 30th at the office/shop area near the entrance of the cemetery. I will have a short briefing concerning our responsibilities. We will try to be available to help with other duties and needs if asked by the cemetery staff. So wear comfortable cloths and shoes but also wear your PGR gear (Not required) if you have some.
The flags will be posted before we get there, so we will only be responsible for the removal and retrieval of our flags after the close of the service and helping with the departing traffic.
***If you think you will be able to attend, please RSVP me so I have an idea of the size of our group. Also, if you are riding and have the ability to mount flags on your bike, please do so.
