Graveside/Military Honors
July 27 & 26, 2023

   The family of Lawrence “Larry” Pokorney has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor Larry with a flag line showing our appreciation and respect for his service to our great Nation.  Larry received his education from Yankton High School, followed by four years in the US Air Force.

A Memorial Service celebrating Larry’s life will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 28th at George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls, SD with Graveside/Military Honors at Hills of Rest Cemetery following the service .  His family will be present to greet friends for visitation at 5:00 PM on Thursday July 27th at the funeral home followed by a liturgical wake service and holy rosary at 7:00 PM.  The Visitation and Memorial Service will be “Flags Only”.

   STAGE:10:45 AM, Friday,July 28th at Hills of Rest Cemetery.  Enter the cemetery through the gate in the rear parking lot at George Boom Funeral Home.

Flags will be provided.
