Funeral Mission & Graveside/Military Honors
For Darrell Allen Frederickson
November 15 & 16, 2023
Centerville, SD

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Darrell Frederickson to show our appreciation and respect to Darrell with a flag line in honor of his service to his and our great country.  Uncle Sam called and wanted him to serve his country, so Darrell joined the SD Army National Guard in 1971 and was discharged in 1978.

The Patriot Guard Riders have had a long standing, strong, relationship with Rosenbauer South Dakota, LLC and that connection has been continued over the years by Donley Frederickson who is Darrell Frederickson’s twin brother.  Both Darrell and Donley worked together for 27 years in the firetruck business and because of that, Rosenbauer along with the Patriot Guard will be honoring and showing our respect to Darrell with a flag line of 3’x5′ flags and a ladder fire truck to fly our 30’x50′ flag.

   Jim Lentch, our State Captain, is requesting some riders, weather permitting, for an escort to the Riverview Cemetery, located approximately one and a half miles North of Centerville.  Also, weather permitting, to help raise and lower the big flag with the fire truck.

   Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Good Shepard Catholic Church in Centerville, SD.  Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, November 15 at the church with a Scripture Service at 7:00 PM.  Visitation will be “Flags Only”.
