Benefit for
SD Patriot Guard Ride Captain
Ray Anderson

   This “Event Notice” is being sent out to our membership to let you know of the benefit that will be on December 9th, 2022 that is being done to help our brother, friend and a long time Ride Captain for the SD Patriot Guard Riders.  He has been battling Cancer with his typical “can do” attitude and has continued to earn a living through most of that time, but at this point, his job will be to take charge of his health.

Jim Lentsch, our SDPGR State Captain, has asked that any of our members that might be able to attend,  please come if you can.

The following is a Facebook announcement that his daughter posted to let Ray’s many friends know of the Benefit.  The benefit is being done by his fellow members of the Delmont Volunteer Fire Department and at the bottom of this page is the information for the Date, Time and location.

   Hey everyone! I’m sure you all know and have been on patriot guard missions with my dad, Ray Anderson.  If you know him, you know he’s the first to help anyone with any situation.  My dad has served battles in Desert Storm and Iraq.  He is now battling cancer.  He is as tough as they get but we all know how financially exhausting fighting cancer is. The days missed at work and the medical bills grow each day it seems.
   The Delmont Fire Department is having a benefit for my dad on December 9th.  Donations to help fight the medical bills are greatly appreciated but really it would just be amazing if anyone can make it to the benefit.  I know it would mean a lot to him to see you.
