Funeral Mission
November 29 & 30, 2018

   The family of Ron Thomas has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at Ron’s Celebration of Life services to show our appreciation, respect and honor for his service to his country.  Ron was awarded the Bronze Star and Air Medals for his service in Vietnam. While there, he specialized in Communications in the 173rd Airborne Division, where he achieved the rank of Sergeant (E5).

Ron’s service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 30, 2018, at First Evangelical Free Church in Sioux Falls with a light lunch to follow. Visitation with family present to greet friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 29, 2018, at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls.  The interment and military honors will be at a later date after the new Veterans’ Cemetery opens.

   Stage: 9:30 a.m., Friday, November 30, 2018 at First Evangelical Free Church, 2601 W. 69th Street Sioux Falls.  Burial at a later date.
