Funeral Mission

The family of Neil A. Heier has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor Neil with a flag line showing our appreciation and respect for his service to our great Nation. Neil was drafted into the United States Army in 1970 and served as a medic during the Vietnam War and was discharged in 1972 and returned to his home town of Gayville.
The funeral service will be 2:30 PM on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Gayville Lutheran Church in Gayville, South Dakota. The visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday at the church.
STAGE: 1:15 PM, Saturday, May 15th at Gayville Lutheran Church, 307 Washington St., Gayville, SD. Burial will be in the Gayville Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
Flags will be provided.
For your own safety and the safety of others, we are asking any members that choose to attend this mission to be prepared to comply with the “Covid Safety” mask and distancing recommendations, if requested by the family, the funeral home or is required by the community that you are in.
