The family of Daniel P Arguello has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor Daniel with a flag line showing our appreciation and respect for his service to our great Nation. Dan attended the Rapid City public schools until his enlistment in the United States Army on September 22, 1969. Serving in Germany and Vietnam, Dan earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Service Stars, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, the Rifle Sharpshooter medal; and was honorably discharged in 1973.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 15th at 10:00 a.m. at Rock Point Church, followed by burial, with military honors, at Black Hills National Cemetery.
Stage: 9:00 a.m., Thursday, September 15th at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home, 1213 Harmony Heights Ln, Rapid City, SD. The family would like an escort from the church to Black Hills National Cemetery and would also like to have a POW/MIA flag flown by one or more of the riders if possible.
