The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited again this year to assist with placing U.S. flags for Memorial Day at the head stones of the Veterans that are buried at the Hills of Rest Cemetery. This will be the third year that we will be helping with this honor. There are several groups that will be involved again this year and some groups have been participating for many years. There will be a lunch and short program before starting the placement of the flags.
Stage; 4:30 pm Thursday, May 24th by the Mausoleum at the Hills of Rest Cemetery, on East 10th St. I will be there by 4:00 pm to help prepare for the event however this is a “come when you can and leave when you you need to” event for us. The stage time is for those that can come early enough for the lunch and program. If you can come later to help, stop at the Mausoleum and ask where the PGR is working. Hope to see you there.
