Funeral Mission

   The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Arthur “Al” E. DeWit to show our appreciation and respect to “Al” with a flag line in honor of his service to his and our great Nation.  Mr. DeWit served with the Occupation Forces in Europe as a radio operator following WWII.

Al’s visitation and funeral service will be April 23rd, 2021 at First Christian Reformed Church, 2901 E. 26th St., Sioux Falls, SD with burial at Hills of Rest Cemetery.  The visitation and funeral service will be “Flags Only” flag line honors.

Stage: 11:30 AM, Friday, April 23rd at Hills Of Rest Cemetery where the Patriot Guard will stand flag line for the interment and Military Honors following the funeral service.  Enter the cemetery through the George Boom Funeral Home rear parking lot.

   For your own safety and the safety of others, we are asking any members that choose to attend this mission to be prepared to comply with the “Covid Safety” mask and distancing recommendations, if requested by the family, the funeral home or is required by the community that you are in.
