  The family of James “Jim” Teller has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor “Jim” with a flag line showing our appreciation and respect for his service to our great Nation.  Jim served two years (1967-1969) in the US Army with one Infantry tour of duty in Vietnam before being honorably discharged with a rank of Sergeant.  In Vietnam Jim was assigned to an Infantry Company in the Americal Division and while there was promoted to Squad Leader and then Sergeant.  He was also awarded a Bronze Star for Valor.  Jim was proud of his military service and was an American Legion member for over 50 consecutive years at post 42 in Arlington.

Funeral services will take place at The Point to Serve Church, 506 N Kiwanis Ave, Sioux Falls, SD on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow at the South Dakota State Veteran’s Cemetery at 12:00 p.m.

   Stage: 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 17th at South Dakota State Veteran’s Cemetery, 25965 477th Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD.
