Funeral Mission

   The family of John Prochniak has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to post a flag line honoring and showing our respect to John for his service to his and our great nation.  John served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  After his time in the service, John started working at the South Dakota State Penitentiary where he would dedicate the next 36 years of his life. He attained the rank of Captain and was one of the longest serving at the time of his retirement in April of 1991.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Zion Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. Visitation with family present to greet friends will be from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., Monday, June 25, at George Boom Funeral Home & Crematory, Sioux Falls.  This visitation will be a “flags only” flag line.

   Stage: 11:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Zion Lutheran Church, 1400 S. Duluth Ave. Sioux Falls, SD.

Flags will be provided for the mission.
