Funeral Mission
October 1st, 2018

   A request for a flag line has been sent to the Patriot Guard Riders by the family of LaVerne A. Decker.  In appreciation for his service to his and our great nation we will respectfully honor that request.  LaVerne enlisted in the United States Navy and was stationed in Hawaii until at the end of his service when he received his Honorable Discharge and returned home to South Dakota.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 1, 2018, at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls. Visitation with family present to greet friends will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.  Interment will take place at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 2, 2018 (mountain time), with full military honors at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD.  There will be a second mission posted and sent out for the interment on Tuesday 9/2/18 at Black Hills National Cemetery.

   Stage: 12:30 p.m., Monday, October 1, 2018, at George Boom Funeral Home, 3408 E. 10th St., Sioux Falls, SD.

Flags will be provided.
