The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Louis VanderPlaats to show our appreciation and respect to Harold with a flag line in honor of his service to his and our great Nation. Louis served his country during the Korean War and he earned his Honorable Discharge from the United States Army in 1953.
The funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2019, at The Little Stone Church in Sioux Falls. Visitation with family present to greet friends will be from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2019, at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls. Visitation on Friday will be a “Flags Only” flag line.
Stage: 9:00 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2019, at The Little Stone Church in Sioux Falls, 1001 E. 6th Street Sioux Falls, SD. Military Honors to follow the funeral service at the church. Interment will take place in Minnesota.
Flags will be provided.
