Obituary

Deputy Katherine Ann Frank, age 26, passed away Monday, October 12, 2026 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory in Sioux Falls, SD. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 19, 2026 at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls. (Attendees are encouraged to be seated by 12:00 pm on the day of the service.) On Tuesday, October 20, 2026 a Visitation will be held in Dawson, MN at Grace Lutheran Church from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A Private Family Interment will follow.

Stage Time: 11:30 AM
Location: Lower parking lot at the rear of the funeral home.
Briefing & Setup Time: 11:45 AM (to set up flags prior to the Visitation)
Note: Flags will be provided on site.Monday, October 19th: Funeral Service
Stage Time: 9:00 AM
Location: Denny Sanford PREMIER Center, 1201 N. West Ave., Sioux Falls, SD
Briefing & Setup Time: 9:30 AM (to set up flags prior to the Funeral Service)
Notes: Flags will be provided on site. Escort for Deputy Katherine Frank will be
done by law enforcement officers, only.

Tuesday, October 20, 2026: Visitation & Private Family Interment
Stage Time: To be determined by MN Patriot Guard Riders
Location: Grace Lutheran Church, 716 8th Street, Dawson, MN
